Trojan was purchased at Perth from Lady Glendyne in February 2007 for 6000gns due to him being a clean, balanced bull with a great back end. By an Australian sire he was a total outcross for the herd and has consequently bred us thick set, clean stock with enough bone, including Podehole Beefeater (sold 2010 for 14,000gns) and Podehole Drummer (sold 2012 for 13,000gns).

His daughter Podehole Madeline Choice, a full sister to Podehole Beefeater, has had a very successful 2013 show season, winning overall champion Royal Highland Show, National Show at East of England and Great Yorkshire Show.

Purchased in Stirling in February 2011 for 11,000gns, April 2009-born Clansman is by the Glenisla Rannoch son Cavans Yankee, who sired the winner of the young bull class at the World Conference Show in 2010 and is out of the Chapelton Welcome daughter Chapleton Duchess, which is the same family that produced the February 2010 breed champion and record breed price. Clansman has a milk figure of +10, a TSI of +24 and a SRI of +18.

His first crop of calves are showing great promise. Podehole Rita Flora was champion Beef Shorthorn at Agri-Expo 2012. This March born heifer is by Clansman out of Podehole Rita Bedazzle.

Podehole Gypsy Freesia was champion at the East of England Smithfield Calf Show 2012. She is an April born Clansman daughter out of Podehole Snowqueen.

He also sired the first prize pair at the Royal Highland Show 2013, Podehole Gypsy Freesia and Podehole Fenman. With Fenman also winning junior champion and reserve overall male.
